The main idea for the movie is Jet Lag. I identified it as an insomnia disorder due to the adverse symptoms you experience while your body adjusts to the new circadian rhythm; dissociation and spatial confusion are the main symptoms.
Film Pitch
The chosen atmosphere of the room mostly depends on the country where the character is located at any given scene.I looked at how I can describe pictorial space and highlight the difference between rooms as the character's location (country) changes throughout my movie: I made a scene of roof tiles under a pouring rain with an addition of cathedrals' bells sound because this is the way I see England. When shooting the room resembling my hometown (Russia), I used black/white, which shows the nature of my small town.
The movie is about a personal experience, where I explore how space can be seen through an insomnia disorder lens.
